canSERV Navigator
The Navigator is an interactive tool that helps users identify services that could be bundled together and explore how different services connect. It is based on data from 272 applications that selected two or more services from the canSERV catalogue.
The Navigator also provides an overview of the number of applications received per country across different calls. In addition, it allows users to explore services grouped under several categories, including:
- Disease Models
- Advanced Technologies for Personalised Oncology
- Biomarker Research, Development, and Validation
- New Therapeutic Solutions
- Accelerated Translation into Personalised Oncology Clinical Practices
- Open Digital Research Services
- Access to human samples and data
- Planning and design of complex clinical trials
- Training
- Ethical, legal and socio-economic (ELSI) dimensions
The tool offers different views:
1. Services View
This view displays all canSERV services and the interconnections between services. Users can:
- Filter specific services using the Filter Service option at the top right of the page.
- Hover over the graph to explore services and their interconnections.
- Select a service category to see how its services link to those in other categories.
- Click on any service to open its detailed description in the canSERV catalogue.
2. Service Graph View
This view provides a more detailed representation of how services are interconnected. When hovering over the graph, particularly over an individual node, it highlights how that service is connected with other services, based on previous user selection of services.
Service categories are colour-coded, making it easy to identify the category each service belongs to. Selecting a service will open its detailed description in the canSERV catalogue. Same filters are available for this view as well: Filter Services, Application Countries, Service Category.
3. Applications in the World View
This view presents a world map illustrating the number of applications received from each country. It provides a quick visual overview of global participation across the different calls.
